About Us

WestWater Point is secluded and accessable to major roads.

Westwater Point is a community located just outside the beltway in Springfield, Virginia. It was built by Wills-Van Metre in the late 1980's. On our over 20 acres of grounds, we have large stands of mature trees that our residents enjoy. In addition, the community has maintained a planting program that has now graced us with many mature smaller trees.

The park land atmosphere encourages our residents to get out and meet their neighbors while walking their dogs, watching their children play, or just enjoying the scenery. Westwater Point's common property includes walking paths that join an extensive network of paths in the Pohick Creek Stream Valley Park owned by Fairfax County.

The active Westwater Point Homeowners Association constantly pursues landscaping, safety and property appearance initiatives that both enhance residents' quality of life and preserve community property values. Westwater Point is a community that cares, and a great place to live.

Westwater Point offers easy access to Interstate 95, the Fairfax County Parkway, the Springfield Metro Station (Blue Line) and the Virginia Railway Express. A commuter lot with Metro bus pickup is within walking distance atop the hill at the intersection of Gambrill Road and Hooes Road.

The Westwater Point community is served by Hunt Valley Elementary School

Washington Irving Middle School and

West Springfield High School

.

The South Run Recreation Center, featuring an indoor pool, a wide variety of exercise equipment and many programs and lessons for both adults and children, is less than three miles away. A variety of shopping venues, including the Springfield Mall, are located within a four mile radius from Westwater Point.
